Welcome
The first word out of the resurrected Jesus’ mouth was a simple greeting, “Hi” (Matthew 28:9). That seems to be the-just-right first word for this website. “Hi.” Because I put significant premium on civility and hospitality, I hope you sense a warm welcome. If you can’t already tell, I’m glad you’re here. Consider this my invitation to join me on a sacred pilgrimage. Grace and peace.
TURNING DOWN THE NOISE
I know there are many voices clamoring for our attention in this digital age, especially in our social-media-driven culture. Everyone has something to say. Some are downright combative. Many shout. I believe a whisper can penetrate the noise, anger, and hate. My chosen tone is softer and kinder, barely noticeable.
AN ONGOING JOURNEY
The Jesus-following life is my chosen path. I love talking about how we are spiritually formed to look, sound, and live more and more like Him. People are hungering and thirsting for something bigger and better than that puny thing we call “self.” My adult life has been decidedly marked by a long journey in knowing Jesus and sharing Him with others. I’ll talk a lot about holy habits and spiritual exercises on this website. So again, welcome. This is an invitation to join me on a sacred pilgrimage. Grace and peace.
